Naomi Washer is an essayist, dancer, and translator from the Khmer. Her essays, translations, and dance films have appeared and are forthcoming in Interim: A Journal of Poetry & Poetics, Passages North, The Account: A Journal of Poetry, Prose, & Thought, con•text, St. Petersburg Review, Ricochet Review, and other journals. Her work explores the space between languages, words and gestures, and silence and sound. She has presented her work at the American Literary Translators Conference and served as a Guest Editor and Mentor Translator for Ricochet Review’s translation issue. She holds an MFA in Nonfiction from Columbia College Chicago and is the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Ghost Proposal.
